Legal Expenses Insurance for Funding Medical Negligence Claims

Before the Event (BTE) Insurance is usually the best way to cover costs for a Clinical Negligence case through "add on" insurance policies taken out with household and personal insurance.

Even if your potential claim has merit, they may exclude cover for failing to notify the insurers of a potential claim within the strict time limits specified or because the nature of the treatment complained of falls outside the scope of their policy, for example, delay in diagnosis.

Providing your claim is still within 3 years of the date of injury or knowledge of the injury, alternative means of funding may still be available to protect you from paying any costs.

You should contact Davies and Partners, your local Clinical/Medical Negligence specialists, in Bristol, Gloucester, Birmingham or London, to discuss alternative funding options.
